A problem since 1957 is the gas spashing back onto your beauitiful taillight assemblies and discoloring your taillight lenses under hard acceleration. This gas tank filler neck check valve kit prevents this from happening. It installs between the upper and lower sections of the filler pipe. Danchuk # 14949 will work on any 1957 classic Chevy and can be installed in 1955-1956 models by cutting the gas filler pipe. Made in the USA.
