Originally the '55 grille was stamped and plated. We carry this stainless version for the restorer who doesn't want the upkeep of chrome. However, polished stainless does not reflect the same as chrome and you may find the rest of the surrounding chrome on the front end of your car looks very different from the grille. Part #DAN10203 will work on any 1955 classic Chevy model. Photo is of #DAN478 which looks similar.
