If you have removed the trunk lock for painting or replacement, be certain to re-install the lock with a new lock clip. Every trunk lock retainer is heat treated to provide maximum spring pressure and cad plated to prevent rust and corrosion. Danchuk # 388 will work on any 1955-1957 classic Chevy as well as 1956-1962 Corvette's. Made in the USA.
