The liftgate on Nomad models were prone to leaking. A quick fix for that problem was this supplemental weatherstrip which, when applied to the liftgate, helped to seal out the elements and keep things dry. Danchuk # 2036 is a 1/2" wide half round strip of weatherstrip which will work on any 1955-1957 classic Chevy Nomad. We recommend using 3M weatherstrip adhesive for installation. This seal does not have molded corners. If you want molded corners for easier installation, please order DAN614.
