This rear shock mount kit is designed for cars that are relocating the leaf springs in line with the frame for more tire room in the rear wheel wells using Danchuk # 10235. Relocating the springs moves the shocks inboard so the stock shock mounting locations will not work. Danchuk # 11290 will work on any 1955-1957 classic Chevy using a rear leaf spring relocation kit except Nomad or wagon.
