Product Description
The original 1955-1957 Chevy sending units are 0-30 ohm which makes them unusable with some aftermarket gas gauges. This sending unit solves that problem as it is an original type sending unit that will install in your original tank, but it is rated for 240-33 ohms like most aftermarket gauges. Danchuk #16213 will work on any 1955-1957 classic Chevy sedan, hardtop or convertible utilizing an aftermarket gas gauge. Will not work on wagons or Nomads. Will not work with stock gas gauges.
