This grommet / bushing is necessary to connect the carburetor linkage to the carburetor, without it your linkage will be loose and unsafe. Danchuk # 079 will work on any 1955-1957 classic Chevy. Don’t forget an accelerator linkage sleeve, Danchuk # 1877.
