This kit gives you the hoses you need to connect your power steering pump to your 605/500 power steering box. Danchuk # 2699 will work on any 1955-1957 classic Chevy with a 605 steering box or with a # CP50000 steering box from Classic Performance Products. These hoses were made for the Can Style Saginaw power steering pumps which have a rear flare fitting. If your Saginaw pump has a rear O-ring fitting these hoses will not work. They will also not work if you have a Borgeson power steering gear box. If your steering box is made by Borgeson please purchase part # BOG925103
